Whether you are introducing pickleball in a PE class, a park, or a community setting, the foundation is already built for you.
We Wrote the Book on Junior Pickleball
Our equipment is paired with our cornerstone resource, Junior Pickleball: A Guide for Teachers, Coaches, and Volunteers—the nation’s first standards-based pickleball curriculum, designed for seamless use in physical education classes, after-school programs, and community settings.
Originally developed as a comprehensive book, it has evolved into a dynamic online course that’s more accessible, practical, and easy to implement. Educators and coaches can learn at their own pace, access updates in real time, and apply the material immediately in their programs.
Built with Safety in Mind
Pickleball is fun, fast, and accessible—but like any paddle sport, it carries risks, particularly to the eyes. That is why every PBKUSA bundle includes protective eyewear as a standard component, not an afterthought.
By introducing eye protection at the earliest stages of play, we help create a culture where safety is normalized, expected, and embraced. When young players learn to compete and train with proper protection, it becomes part of how they play the game for life. For schools, parents, and program leaders, this means greater confidence, reduced risk, and a safer environment for every participant on the court.
Custom-branded paddles and gear transform your program into a source of pride and identity. Schools, community organizations, and sponsors can bring their brand directly onto the court, creating a stronger connection with participants and elevating the overall experience. These branded elements are ideal for school programs, community leagues, tournaments, and sponsorship activations—because when kids show up with your name in their hands, it means something.

Pickleball Kids USA was founded in 2020 by Randall Bedwell, a leading figure in junior pickleball and Executive Director of the Tennessee Junior Pickleball Association, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that has expanded junior pickleball programs and competitive pathways across Tennessee. A certified teaching professional in three racquet sports, Bedwell works with schools, parks, and community organizations to develop sustainable, standards-based programs.
He authored the Tennessee Academic Standards for Physical Education – Pickleball, which have since evolved into nationally aligned standards and form the foundation of Junior Pickleball: A Guide for Teachers, Coaches, and Volunteers—the definitive resource for implementing junior pickleball programs in schools and communities.
Through PKUSA and TJPA, this model has reached thousands of students, certified over 250 coaches, launched school-based programs, and expanded across Tennessee and nationally.
